Pulau Sibu. Shiokness!

I was recently at Pulau Sibu for a short holiday, and i was very amazed and happy with it! The island was so damn beautiful! SHIOKNESS!!!!!
Oh, before i begin, this is super damn intense photo entry. Its more a picture-show-and-tell! and there is 150 photos in all! hehehehe.....

So, it was a 3 days 2 nights trip, and the you pay S$380 for everything in the trip! Including food, transfer from Singapore to hotel and back to Singapore.. hmmnnn, basically, you dont need money at all for this trip after paying the agent! Coool eh?
So, the days starts at 6am in the morning, where i was informed that a bus will be waiting for me at Newton MRT and this bus will bring me all the way to the Jetty where a ferry will be waiting for me.
Now, i know that its a Friday morning and all, (i took leave from work), but i didnt realised that i would be the only passenger in the bus! Seriously! I was the only one in the bus, other then the bus driver and the tour guide!
Talk about feeling diva, i was living in on Froday morning, in the big bus by myself! The whole bus to myself, all the way from Singapore to Johor Bahru! And what else can i do then to sleep and cam whore...
I encounter a slight jam in Johor bahru though!!! I mean, its Friday morning, and people do have to work!! LOL!!!!!
See, its empty! I told ya i was the only one!
And i just dont want to think about the carbon footprint i am leaving behind from this trip! I mean, from Singapore, to the Woodlands checkpoint and up to Tanjung Leman in Johor Bahru. Me in this bus made to fit 20 passengers!
I slept most of the journey! when i woke up, the scenery changes so much i tot i was in some safari jungle!!! no????
So, after about 2 and half hours of traveling through palm trees and dodgy road, we finally reach the jetty in Tanjung Leman!!!
Wheee!!!!!
Its such a small place, a few office and the Sibu Island Resort Office..
And since, i have not had my coffee, i ordered one and wait for the ferry! the ferry was suppose to be at 11, and i was there about 10ish.. a lot of time to kill!!! Though, the coffee there sucked! i thought it would be the original malaysian coffee, in the end, my coffee comes witha coffee bag, like a tea bag? its kinda... suck! and the prices for the coffee and food and memorabalia here, is almost to the point of extortion! LOL

All calm and peaceful! Actually, if you want to go to these island, its best to go from april to august cause after that, the monsoon will come and the boat ride will be a hell of a ride! it might even be the last ride of your life, or so i was told!!!!!

so, the ferry arrived on time, and soon, we are on the way to Pulau Sibu! its about a 30 mins ride from Tanjung Leman jetty to Pulau Sibu....

and the best part is that i am not required to be seated during the journey. well actually, i just cant sit down and wait.. so boring... when else can u go and have ur face slapped by sea water?

ok, seriously, if i were to owe a better camera, say a Canon DSLR 500D or something, my photos would be so much nicer then these!!!

so, i did arrived safely, and i checked in to my room! and yes, its such a long way up to my room! see the stairs?!!! i am perched on top a the hill lah!! make me walk so much!!

ok, i have to say, the style of this resort is well done. they managed to make it look authentic kampung style but still have the convience of a modern hotel! i LIKE!!!!

see, the sink is outside, so, incase there is 2 of you, one shit, and the other one can still brush his teeth or something!!!
ok, the shower, no bath tub though, but then, the shower head is the rainfall kind (i forgot to take photo!!!)
So bathing is quite shiok for me!!!
nice eh? victorian style bed, with matching cupboard.
and the vanity table and teevee!!
and full toiletries.. and there i had brought my own! 2 bags of it! oh well!!
so, i was damn happy with the room. and acually, the moment i checked in, their chamber maids must have went to my room and switch on the aircon and lights for me so, when i enter my room, its perfect! oh, just so, the weather there is scorching hot!!! seriously!
yup, a very satisfied customer!
these stairs actually led to another "house" just for the honeymooners! so that u can humop awya loudly without getting any complaints! LOL!

ok, i was walking around the resort compound, and i was too shagged. its all hilly ya'll!
the beach! Pulau Sibu has 3 beaches and this is no. 3, according to the map..
one thing i have to say, teh beach is not as WOW-ing as Bintan's beach. maybe because Bintan's beach is so man made... and Sibu's beach, is just... rocky!!!!
but the water is so damn clear though!! crystal clear!!!!

ok, this is their main beach! and yes, its quite a distance from the beach chairs, but its because its low tide lah!!!
i just find this funny, a small plant growing out of nowhere by the water!

and the activites you can do there if you bring kids!!!
and i tried myself! the bigger trampoline that is!!! there are 2 of it!
its really fun! and tiring!!!

yup, they have a p[ool bar but they close it down!! i just dunno why.. how to sip cocktails and enjoy the moment like that??
this is beach no. 3. and we are advise not to swim here, cause the waves are much more stronger! and its more rockier here!
but its a nice beach, nonetheless...

other then that, i was either sleeeping or eating!

the second day starts in a gloom! well, becuase its raining the night before!
so after breakfast, i went to NUA by the beach!!!!!
super shiok!!! but since the beach is full of rocks, and jelly fish, i moved to the pool!!!!

and then at night, i went for t BBQ dinner! oh, the thing about this resort is that, when u pay for the room, you are entitled to a RM$100 everyday to use for food. which means, i have 100 to eat! and the resort restaurant there has only buffet! wheee!! i practically ate like pig!
oh well, thats what you should do during holiday right??

and so , the last day. was a breeze..... my ferry was slotted at 1pm, i woke up pretty early, went to the pool and pack!
i am missing Sibu as i am typing this!!!
